Improved performance and new analysis functions for supply chain models
anyLogistix 3.4.4 is the latest version of the software for supply chain design, simulation and optimisation. This release focuses in particular on improved performance when handling large models, expanded modelling and analysis capabilities, and enhancements to the quality of results and user-friendliness.
Improved performance for large-scale supply chain models
A key focus of the new release is the processing of large scenarios. The display of routes and connections on maps has been optimised in terms of performance and reliability. Improvements to the processing and caching of road data and routes are designed to ensure smoother operation, particularly in complex networks.
The processing of demand values in simulation scenarios has also been accelerated. In addition, the editing of extensive table data and the deletion of scenarios, amongst other things, have been optimised.
New possibilities for modelling and supply chain analysis
anyLogistix 3.4.4 also expands the possibilities for mapping and evaluating supply chains. A new addition is the ‘Total Demand’ demand type, which allows a fixed total demand to be modelled within a defined time period.
Two new calculation models are also available for a more nuanced representation of transport costs. These allow, for example, fixed delivery costs within specific distance ranges, as well as product-related costs in combination with distance and fixed costs, to be taken into account.
The analysis of optimisation results has also been expanded. New ‘Service Distance’ statistics support the evaluation of geographical service coverage. In addition, a dedicated view is available for statistics on the components of the objective function.
Compare results more effectively and support decision-making
Another important change concerns the handling of experiment results. These are now stored separately from a scenario’s input data. This ensures that results that have already been calculated are retained, even if changes are subsequently made to the input data.
Comparison settings for KPIs are also carried over when copying scenarios, including their results. This facilitates the systematic comparison of different supply chain scenarios.
Further improvements in anyLogistix 3.4.4
In addition to the new features, this release includes numerous optimisations for day-to-day use. These include improved accuracy in the Cost to Serve calculation for FTL shipments, better support for partial deliveries spread over several days, and optimisations for server operation, licence management and installation.
With version 3.4.4, anyLogistix has thus been further enhanced, particularly for the analysis of extensive delivery networks and the comparison of complex supply chain scenarios.
